.

Questions To Ask:

How long have you been in practice?

Are you licensed by the State?

How do I know you provide quailty service?

What is your therapeutic orientation and is it effective for my type of problem? (you can look up the meanings of different orientations here.)

What is your area of expertise?

What is your experience in my specific area of concern?

What has your success rate been?

What are your hours?

How much does it cost?

Do you have a sliding fee scale?

Do you have evening or weekend appointments? If so, is there an extra charge?

Will you take my insurance?

What would I/we do in our first session?
